Here’s another job posting for 2012. Most major companies start their new hiring
right after the Christmas Holidays. It’s
encouraging to see so many starting their search for new Tour Directors and
Guides early.

(Tour Directors) for their European River Cruise Programs in 2012. Vantage Deluxe World Travel is a
well-respected tour operator that has been creating Five-star travel programs
at Four-star prices for mature travelers since 1983.

This is a freelance position and we are recruiting for the
2012 season.
Application:
I’m not sure what they mean by “Comfortable Command of
German” but if you do not speak German I still recommend applying if you feel
you have most of the other qualifications.
Its listed last telling me, it’s not as important as the above listed
requirements. I covered most of the list in the training so hopefully you feel
comfortable about the procedures and with a bit of Internet research you should
be able to learn about the destinations easily.
Remember too, you’re not the guide, you’re the Tour Director and
managing the groups.
