Tour Guide Hiring and Training!!

More local hiring!  Local tour operators are getting ready for a busy summer season.  Tours include biking, wine, narration on a double decker bus and the NYC 911 museum.  If you're interested I recommend contacting the tour operators ASAP.  If you know someone else that may be interested, you're welcome to send on the information.
Looking for opportunities in your local area?  I usually recommend starting with your local CVB, Convention and Visitors Bureau, website.  Look up activities, tours, meetings, receptive services and members.  Most also have networking receptions.
If your goal is to lead international and or domestic tours you'll find the local work helpful in developing skills, confidence and networking.  Domestic, international and student tour operators are less likely to train due to the logistics and cost.
Reminder, the final date for enrollment for the new DMC Training and Fast Track Classroom Training is approaching soon. It's a great way to get started in a career you'll love.  I hope you can make it!
Wishing you all the best.
Cherie
